Heat oven to 350
3 cups finely shredded cabbage
1 1/2 cups stewed tomatoes (your own or canned)
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. paprika
Dry bread crumbs
Grated cheddar cheese
2 tsp brown sugar (can omit)
Cook cabage for 5 min. & drain well
Heat stewed tomatoes, add salt paprika, brown sugar.
Butter or spray with Pa a baking dish.
Alternate layers of tomatoes & cabbage, begining with tomaotes. Cover with dry bread crumbs and grated cheddar cheese.
Bake 15 minutes until crumbs are brown & cheese is melted.
