Smile Fried Green Tomatoes

I have lived in the south for nearly 20 years now. I have eaten fried green tomatoes ranging from "to die for" to "boolemia starter." I need a good recipe.

Here in KY we slice tomatoes pretty thin to start.
Dip slices into buttermilk first then seasoned cornmeal.
Fry in hot oil til golden brown.
I like to sprinkle them with a little coarse sea salt when they come out of the oil.
Some people like to dip them in beaten eggs then the cornmeal. I like the flavor of the buttermilk.
