I like to make pizzas as well. The kids love it when I make pizza for lunch. (It's just too much of a production to make enough for dinner). I buy the pizza crust mix and pizza sauce in a jar though. It's always good enough for us.

We usually have pizza every Friday night, with homemade crust, or the just add water crusts. Usually topped with sauce, cheese, more cheese, fresh mushrooms and onion.
I also sometimes make individual mexican pizzas, with flour tortillas, refried beans, spicy hamburger, taco sauce, and cheese, then topped with more salsa and sour cream after it is baked.

I love homemade pizza, although I never get a chance to make it. When I go to my fathers house, he makes a few small pies all the time. He used to own his pizza parlor four or five years ago, too.

ainjel, you made me so hungry! I just ate pizza yesterday but I still want more.

You're homemade pizza sounds more delish than the pizza I ate yesterday.

Thanks I need a new one ,I lost the last one I had. thanks

I make such horrible pizzas that now I have given up on trying to make a good one. It's so much more convenient to order it over the phone.

sweetnsour - never give up - the next pizza you nake will turn out and that will give you the confidence to make more - if it's your dough - go to a local bakery or pizza parlor and ask for a pound of dough - or buy it frozen at the supermarket - drizzle just a bit of oil on the top after you spread in in your tin and top with sauce, seasonings, cheese, etc.

you don't need a lot of heavy spices! a little will go a long way and give you a great taste!

start with basic pizzas and soon you will be able to do anything you want!

Take Away pizzas are the worst! Home Made pizzas are far much better, and you can have anything on them. I usually make mine with lebanese bread, so i dont eat too much dough.

We usually just purchase the individual bobolis and make our own pizzas. NOne of the kids like the same topping so it is so much easier. However, making pizza from scratch does sound good.

I agree with magna - homemade pizzas are better than anything you could ever get from a pizza place or the frozen food section!
