I've never heard of those... Care to share the recipe? My husband loves meatballs but mine always fall apart.

I'm stuck... I took out some hamburger meat for dinner tonight, but have no idea what to make with it. It's completely thawed out so I can form it if I need to. I just don't know what to make with it though. We had meatloaf just a couple days ago, and I really don't want it again. My daughter wants Cheeseburger Pie, but we're out of cheese... somebody got into it again & ate the last of it. And of course, no one wants to admit to it, grumble, grumble...

After browsing the beef "things" thread pg. 2, I decided to make Skillet Meatloaf with green beans and elbow macaroni. I will let everyone know how my family likes it. The recipe is about halfway down the page.

Well the Skillet meatloaf was a hit. I liked it, even though I put onions in it and I don't like onions but my husband and daughter do. I did substitute the tomato sauce for ready to eat tomato soup that I had... it simmered down to a nice thick sauce without needing to add water. My husband said it needed more seasonings, but I used the last of my Mrs. Dash the other night. I'm glad Friday is payday, seems like I'm running out of everything this week. But it's my own fault on the Mrs. Dash, I forgot to add it to last payday's (2 weeks ago) shopping list & I forget things if I don't have them on the list.

I've never had meatloaf, but I always imagined that it would taste really bad. Don't know why I have that connotation.

Last night, I forgot to take some meat out for dinner. Bad, bad me. Luckily I had some flash frozen chicken that the girls could eat, so I made that for them. I actually started it before hubby got home and made enough for everyone, but he threw a fit over the chicken. He wanted me to order pizza, but I told him we had already spent all our order out budget this month. So he was mad at me... I told him fine, I'd go ahead and order it anyway, I'd just have to skip something on the grocery list. He said that if I ordered it, he wouldn't eat it anyway. He was throwing a major temper tantrum... so I didn't order him anything, and he didn't eat until almost 9pm last night. He finally decided he wanted some of the chicken, but my oldest said something didn't taste right about the third piece, so the rest went bye-bye. I wasn't about to risk anyone getting sick from the chicken. I ended up making me and hubby some hamburger patties the same way as the skillet meatloaf. The meat was bland, it was prefrozen hamburger patties that you buy at Wal-Mart. But the sauce was pretty good, I smothered mine with sauce. LOL.

Tonight, I'm not sure what we're having. But I did take out some meat, boneless pork chops. Just gotta figure out what to make with them now.

We had 'chicken shawarma' last night. It is a labenese dish and tastes yummy.
