Default Coconut Shrimp

I sort of cheat on this one. I just buy some shrimp (no tails) and buy the shrimp batter from the store. Dip the shrimp in the batter and then roll it in coconut.... deepfry.... and eat up. Biggest problem with this is that you've eaten so many of them before you're finished, that by the time you're ready to serve dinner, you're not hungry and the family's sayin "Hey?? Where's all the shrimp??"

So are you saying that these are so good that you eat them all before they hit the table?

Yep - that's exactly what I meant. No, wait. Not ALL of them. Just...more than what I should.

I've never seen shrimp batter sold at the store - what's in it?

To me, it sort of seems like it's the same as the fish batter that's sold right next to it. But... I'm not sure.
