Lol.....reminds me of a pretty good burger joint near my work. It is called Burger Island. It is relatively small and sort of run-down looking, but they have great burgers. These burgers are huge....they are right around (guessing) 6 inches diameter and about 3 inches thick from top to bottom. They have one that is a Pizza burger...they use Mozerella cheese and marinara sauce, grilled onions....oh SO MESSY, but good.

I've never had a chili dog- how do you make it? Just pour the chili on the dogs? Could I use brats for this? I don't have an hot dogs.

Yep, just pour the chili on. I suppose you could use brats; I've never tried that, but aren't brats too fat for hot dog buns?

Also you want to sprinkle on some shredded cheese and also onions if you like.

Chili Dogs are great. I like mine with mayo on the bun, chilli on top and then with onions sprinkled on top of the chilli. Onion rings to the side . And a nice pepsi. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

BagCSC - Oh you just brought back a wonderful childhood treat that I had completely forgotten about. We used to make pizza burgers as a special treat when me and my sister were growing up. We made them just like you described with the addition of toasting the buns first. They tasted so good!! I will have to make them again and see if they still as good now that I am older.

Those pizza burgers sound so yummy, I bet my little boy would love them. He's all about pizza these days.

I love chili dogs! They are so good. My mom hates them, so I never had them until I got married. I admit, I thought they sounded gross when my husband 1st asked me if I ever had them. LOL But then he made them for me & I loved them.
