We do the same thing. We only have desserts around the holidays or birthdays. We do keep sometimes sweet snacks lying around and eat those after dinner sometimes.

I would love to have dessert every night...but really in today's world who has the time? I am lucky to get a meal on the table with all the basics....meat , veggies, etc

No at my house we never have any dessert, everyone's so busy. And dinner usually leaves everyone full, unless it's something small then we just have a snack afterwards.

So funny!

We rarely have dessert. We just eat chocolate bars or whatever.

We usually have good scrumptious dessert when there's company or during special occasions.

Lately I'm the one wanting something sweet after dinner Last night I made cinnamon chips because there was nothing else in the house.

I really need to stop doing that....

No way! Though it's true that I love ending up my meals with something sweet
but I usually don't prepare a dessert.
Sometimes, I just have an icecream or a wafer or sometimes just a chocolate
but I make a dessert at home very rarely.

Actually, it'd be great if we can have dessert every night. I love desserts so much, especially cakes and puddings. But, we can't even prepare dinner...how can we ever have the time to prepare dessert?

I know this isn't "making" a dessert, but last night I sent hubby into town to pick up some bread and milk and he came home with these Blue Bunny (I think?) double fudge-sicles. yumm! AND they're only 70 calories and 98% fat free!

Recently we have been eating lighter and enjoying a desert. Some of the recipes I have come across leave everyone happy at the end.
