Mini devil's food cupcakes decorated - they don't take long to whip up and they can just pop them into their mouth and enjoy.
You can always bake them ahead of time, cool completely and freeze - thaw for an hour and frost when ready. At a Halloween party (long ago) these were served and instead of frosting them - a chocolate wafer (any color can be used) and instead of melting and glazing the top, the wafers were placed on top and popped in the microwave to melt/ spread and place a Halloween candy on top. |

that does sound pretty easy. I'll keep that in mind.
I've also been debating on just making up several kinds of "fall" cookies and taking a big platter of those. dangit, if I just hadn't convinced everyone that I can cook I'd be off the hook with a bag of snickers! |

that's what my mom used to do for us she used to bake cup cakes and decorate them with orange white and black icing and she drew bats ghost etc.
but now I don't have as much as time as she did plus it's hard work so I just made anything I find on free recipes sites(such us recipebuddys.com) the other day one recipe surprise me it's really good and this is what I do for Halloween now is bake pumpkin cookies Ingredients 2 1/2 cup gluten-free flour blend* 1 tsp xanthan gum 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp nutmeg 1/2 tsp salt 1 1/2 cups sugar 1/2 cup butter, softened 1 egg 1 cup canned pumpkin 1 tsp vanilla 1/2 cup raisins or chocolate chips Directions Combine gluten-free flour mix, xanthan gum, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt in a medium bowl. In a mixing bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg, pumpkin, and vanilla. Add in dry ingredients. Stir in raisins or chocolate chips. Drop by tablespoons onto an oil sprayed baking sheet. Bake at 350 for 15 to 18 minutes. |
