No, I have never heard of that before. Do you add other items or do you just eat it plain? I think it would taste good with some herbs and cheese.

Dinner for one ideas:

Tuna Salad Sandwich
Rice with Chinese Sausage (simply steam Chinese sausage along with rice)
Steamed Shrimp and most seafood from the fish counter in the grocery store including Catfish, Tuna, Swordfish, they're all easy to get in pint size servings for one.
Steak and Cheese Sandwich
Macaroni and Cheese, homemade preferred
Chicken Hot Dogs
Red Beans and Rice

add some spices to the noodles?

throw in sausages, fried eggs and perhaps a hashbrown?

tat works for me, especially if i'm eating alone.
just want it to be quick and easy.

I like rice with a chicken boulion cube in the water...add a couple eggs...boil that & add some left over ground beef (if you have any from tacos or spaghetti or whatever). Mmmm! It's really good.

Boring you say? At least you have the energy to put some butter on it. When I was in college, I used to always feel lazy to prepare my food so I was used to eating plain rice or noodles as it is--no butter, no anything. Boring, eh?
