You can also make a bunch of chili or soups and put them in freezer containers and freeze them and take them out when you want to cook or microwave them. As well you can get top ramien and cup a noodles. They are cheap and a good quick dinner for one.

Mmm... I love pasta too. But I love some meat too. I'll never eat pasta without meat.

There was a time when I ate pasta for two whole weeks...nothing else!

I sometimes make myself this platter.
I use like a cup of cooked jasmine rice, put it on the centre of my plate
to which I sometimes add carrot, broccoli and peas.
Put some butter on the hot rice.
I also fry some capsicum and boil some beans to go with it
and treat myself to a devilled egg too.
Looks like a restaurant ordered platter.
Nice dinner for one!

When it's dinner for one that is me it's usually just ramen or some kind of noodle soup. I try to keep it as simple and as quick as possible. I just hate cooking only for myself.

Sometimes I don't even eat when I'm alone. Sometimes I just order Chinese or McDonalds.

That would not really be good for me. Why not add some leftover meat on them? When we're making dinner for ourselves that is the time that we can really experiment on our food. I had experienced the same. What I did was boil some noodles add butter, cook a tomato sardines, and put them on top of the noodles. I enjoyed my meal yes. But I have never tried serving anyone it yet.
