August - What is for Dinner

Wed. Dinner: Hot-Dog and fries to go! Cookie

I made pasta- (med. shells) on Tue night in a cream-tomato sauce and turkey balls. It was Good, comfort food! Cookie

Today we had crockpot chili.
Tomorrow we are having smoked brisket, roasted taters, onions and turnips and mac and cheese. It is Sunday dinner at my fil's.
Im gonna have to stop and get hotdog buns on the way home. Cookie has made me hungry for hotdogs.

Last night we had fried green tomatoes by jglass

My son's babysitter is from Georgia a wonderful and warm friend, she grows an extensive garden in her back yard, invited me to her home recently, gave me two extra large tomatoes, and suggested I dip the green tomatoes in cornmeal then fry it, it was outrageous!
