Ic I hear you about the iron skillet crust, it is good! There is not much that you can't do with an iron skillet Hubby and I found a cast iron gridle on sale at Lowe's for the very incredible low price of $1.75 and could not pass it up! Believe it or not until you wrote that post I hadn't even thought of using that instead of a pizza stone for the pizza! Thanks IC you're simply the greatest!

Rick- beautiful photos! Somehow I missed this thread a couple days back when it first came out...

Your pics of all the multiple crusts reminded me of cooking Sunday mornings at the Oil Camps in Alaska. Sunday lunch was always Pizza Day and whether we were cooking for 30 or 300 we always made at least a dozen types of pizza- from Hawai'in Ham & Pineapple to Bacon-Cheeseburger, Plain Pepperoni, Meatlovers, Chix-Pesto, etc.

And IC- I had never thought of making a pizza crust in a cast iron skillet- but I love the way cornbread, cobblers and German pancakes turn out in the skillet- so I'm sure pizza would be fantastic as well... Great Idea!
