It saddens me concerning cartoons. Saturday morning here, over 100 stations to chose from on the TV and out of them all no Saturday morning cartoons. The kiddie networks have some anime crap with creatures with bug eyes that freak me out, lol. Scoobie Doo Where Are You? Plenty of infomercials though......

I hear you IC, I have never seen so many gosh awful looking creatures on TV as they have nowadays. Kids seem almost immune to it, and here I am like you freaking out and thinking "what the...?", occassionally I just have to speak up and say in my most disgusted voice "Change that channel, what are you watcking that filth for?" Works every time, 1st everyone looks at me like I have a loose screw, but they inevitably turn the channel, or much to my pleasure turn the darned thing off, YEAH I WIN!!!!!!

P.S. In defense of some of the kids stuff, there is a cartoon called "Madagascar" that is cute and kind of funny too!

Same over here. A silly duo called Dick and Dom, looking like a pair of twits, trying desperately to take over from Ant and Dec. Kids on the show with them are obviously pupils from a London Stage School and it looks lame.

TV for kids is useless, what happened to Noddy, Camberwich Green, Trumpton, Andy Pandy, Tales of the River Bank, Flower Pot Men, Chingley, Bag Puss, Clangers, The Herbs, Hectors House, The Wooden Tops and Torchie the Battery Boy.

Just to name a few.

I'm 43 and came up in the late 60's and 70's- early 80's. LOVED cartoons! But in my opinion they started going downhill fast with the "Pac-Man" cartoon! (UGH! )
