Default Tuna Salad for lunch!

My Cardiologist wants me under 170 Lbs and this morning I came in at 170.4 so I quess I'm going to have the tuna salad for lunch. However, it ain't that bad. With my homemade mayo (low sodium) and a whole Granny Smith apple in there that thing will weigh close to a pound. OMG, then I will weigh 171.4 and its raining too hard to do my 1 mile walk.

Edit: Since thats such a healthy lunch I think I will just go over to Ricks for hamburgers tonight.

I've never tried the carrots. Just onions, celery, bell pepper if there is any, some olive oil (cuts down on the mayo), lemon juice and mustard.

As a kid, I loved lettuce, And italian tuna with black olives, and shredded carrots mixed in. I still love my Italian tuna packed in olive oil. Don't know why I haven't had it with the other stuff lately

JP you rock!!! Congratulations on your weight loss, that is quite an accomplishment and you must be proud! I hope you loved every bite of the one pounder tuna sandwich!

I hope you are OK with all the horrid weather that came your way! My little sis said Boiser City got hit real bad, and that a bad tornado ripped thru and was only a mile away from her location! I just Thank God she and hers are OK!

IC, I remember as a kid my Mom used to sometimes splurge and take us to the K-Mart Cafeteria for lunch. I remember that was the first place ever that I saw a tuna-stuffed tomato, and I thought they were SO cool and nifty! Also- cottage cheese on a leaf of iceburg, topped w/ a pineapple ring!
