    Default Black-eyed peas and cabbage!

We always have the traditional new years fare. I'm not allowed the ham anymore but there will be some out. I think I know where there is a pork chop hiding in the freezer. BTW we forgot to get a cabbage before they sold out so a bag of coleslaw mix will have to do.

Sounds delish, John! I hate to admit this but I'm not a huge black-eyed pea fan... I did always take a spoon-full though when serving them up each New Year's Day when I was in commercial kitchens... gotta have a taste of the luck-bringers every year, fer shure!
