    Default Beef Stroganoff

Today I'm making beef stroganoff for dinner tonight

1 pound sirloin cut up small
    2 tbls butter
    4 tbls flour
    black pepper
    2 cups water
    2 beef bouilion cubes
    1/2 cup catsup
    chopped scallions
    mushrooms sliced thin
    worcestershire sauce
    gravy master
    16 oz sour cream

Brown meat in melted butter using a big pot
then add flour and stir to thicken
add remaining ingredients except sour cream

Cook egg noodles and just before serving mix sour cream with sauce and serve with the noodles

    pics to follow

    As promised

Here is the sauce before the sour cream was added

    And after the sour cream

    All plated up

And of course I needed some fresh bread to sop up the sauce

The stroganoff looks great. Wish I could get away with using mushrooms more. I love them.
I usually use more of a button mushroom whole so everyone can pick them out with no problems and throw them onto my plate.

My son still does that when he is at our house and he's approaching 30 years old. BTW I will try this one too. I love Stroganoff made with sour cream.
