Francie you remember them too!!! That is so neat! I actually got to cash some in before they went out of business, my Mom was big on them! I used to love their catalog's and would pour over them for hours deciding what to buy, my Mom gave me all her stamps to redeem when I first was a newly wed, I thought I'd died and went straight to heaven
Shortly afterwards they folded

I'm trying to think of the stamps that came before the S&H Green Stamps. I think they were Blue (Yah, I'm old).

Guys- how r u inserting the photos into your posts? I can't see that I have that capability and it's puzzling me!

They need to be on the internet somewhere. I use my own website when necessary.

I don't know how many things Mom had around the house that she got from trading stamps. Clocks, bedspreads, dishes... I also recall a fat snowman cookie jar and matching Christmas Tree cookie platter. And I remember the brightly colored dish-towels found at the bottom of boxes of "Breeze" laundry detergent and free glasses with a fill-up at the gas station! (Deja vu! We've shared about this once already- or maybe it was elsewhere? Or maybe I'm just a sleepy-head! I'm off to bed all, night-night!)

We've got many new members since I first posted this over a year ago. But since I'm still on the lookout for it- I thought it might be well-worth it to post again!

I miss those green little stamps...........

Here in Texas way back when, we had the green stamps as well as black gold stamps. I got lots of camping gear with them. We never had money for such stuff. I would save them now to, if still around. CF
