Put orange peel, cardamon seeds, cinnamon sticks and cloves in cheesecloth bag and boil slowly in wine for 15 minutes.
Add almonds and boil another 15 minutes.
Remove kettle from stove; place wire grill over it with sugar on top and pour brandy over.
Hold a lighted match near sugar; brandy will flame up.
When sugar is melted, extinguish flame by covering kettle.

Serve hot.
