Recipe: Ground Beef Casserole

Recipes using McCormick Garlic Salt

• 1 pound lean ground beef, browned
• 1 medium onion, chopped
• 1/2 pound American cheese, diced
• 2 cups carrots, grated
• 1/8 tsp garlic salt
• 1/2 tsp black pepper
• 1 cup uncooked rice
• 1/2 medium red pepper, diced
• 4 cups milk
• 2 tsps salt
• crushed potato chips
• 1 can cream of mushroom soup
• 1 can cream of chicken soup
• 1/2 cup milk

Mix all but potato chips, cream mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, and milk together; pour into a greased 9x13 baking dish. Let stand overnight. Preheat oven to 350° F. Put potato chips on top when ready to bake. Bake 1 hour at 350° F. If desired mix cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, and milk together for a topping. Heat and spoon over baked casserole.
