Recipe: Hobnails
Ingredients in Hobnails
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup softened butter
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour, sifted
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup raisins
To make Hobnails Recipe
- Preheat oven to 375° F.
- Cream together the sugar and butter.
- Add beaten egg and vanilla.
- Sift together the dry ingredients.
- Stir the dry ingredients into the creamed sugar mixing in a little at a time. Beat well.
- Gently fold in raisins.
- Form batter into small balls and place three inches apart on cookie sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes.
