Homemade Beef Jerky Ingredients
- 1 flank steak
- 1/4 tsp garlic salt
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp lemon pepper
Note: You may use London broil; cut horizontally once or twice, depending on thickness. This is more economical.) Trim all visible fat from beef. Cut lengthwise, with grain, into long, thin strips, no more than 1/4 inch thick. Combine soy sauce, garlic salt, and lemon pepper; mix thoroughly. Pour over beef strips and toss well until coated. Place on wire racks in oven so that they touch but do not overlap. Bake Homemade Beef Jerky in a very slow oven (150-175° F.) overnight, 10 to 12 hours.
