Recipe: Homemade Boloney
- 5 lbs ground beef
- 2 cups water
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp + 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 1/2 tsp dry mustard
- 2 tbsp Morton's Tender Quick Cure
- 2 1/2 tsp hickory smoked salt
- 1 tbsp Accent Flavor Enhancer
- Mix dry ingredients together, add water and thoroughly
mix until dissolved.
- Mix seasoning liquid in meat. Mix very well. Put in container with lid. Refrigerate for 24 to 36 hours.
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- Form into 4 rolls.
- Place rolls on a rack over top of a baking pan to catch juice, and bake for 30 minutes, turn and bake on other side for a total of 60 minutes.
