Recipe: House of Mole Salad
- 2 heads of lettuce (Iceburg or Romaine)
- 3 oz cube of fresh Romano cheese, not pre-grated
- 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- 1 cup toasted almond slivers
- 1 bottle Italian dressing
- Thoroughly wash lettuce and cut or break into bite sized pieces.
- Chill until near serving time.
- When ready to serve grate Romano cheese. Then toss lettuce in a large salad bowl with the Italian dressing to lightly coat.
- Add the grated Romano cheese, sesame seeds, and almonds. Toss thoroughly.
Serves 12 to 14. |
