Recipe: Italian Green Beans

Recipes using Tones Sweet Basil Leaf

• 1/3 cup oil
• 2 cloves of garlic
• 2 large cans tomatoes or 1 can medium tomato paste
• 3 cups water
• 1 small can mushrooms (optional)
• 2 cans green beans
• 1 tsp sweet basil leaves

1. Brown chopped garlic in oil.
2. Add tomatoes or paste.
3. Add 3 cups water.
4. Let slowly boil for about 1 ½ hours or until thick.
5. Add beans and juice.
6. Let simmer ½ hour.
7. Add 1 tsp (level) sweet basil.
8. Salt to taste.
