Recipe: Joe's Marinade Steak

Recipes using Durkee White Pepper

• 2 tbsp white vinegar
• 3 tbsp soy sauce
• 1 tbsp peanut oil
• 1 tbsp sesame oil
• 1 tbsp fresh ginger, diced
• 1 tsp garlic, diced
• 3 hot chili peppers, small crushed (or to taste)
• 1/4 tsp black pepper
• 1/4 tsp white pepper
• 1/4 tsp fennel seed
• 3 tbsp dry sherry
• 1 flank steak, about 2 - 3 lbs

Mix all ingredients except steak. Save 1/4 cup of marinade to serve with cooked steak,. Rinse and pat dry steak. Place in flat pan or dish. Pour marinade over steak. Let marinate for 4 hours or overnight, turning several times. Drain steak, reserve marinade. Sear steak on both sides with high heat. Lower heat. Broil to desired doneness. Slice and serve steak. This marinafe can also be used with 3 lbs of chicken wings Serves 4 - 6.
