Recipe: Lasagne
- 2 tbsps salad oil
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano leaves
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 cup tomato juice
- 2 (8oz) cans tomato paste
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 8 oz pkg lasagne noodles
- 1/2 lb sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 lb cottage cheese
- Parmesan cheese to taste
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Brown ground beef, garlic and onion in oil.
- Add seasonings and liquid.
- Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Cook noodles.
- Make 2 layers of noodles, sauce, Cheddar cheese and cottage cheese in a 13X9 inch pan.
- Bake 15 minutes.
