Recipe: Lasagne

Recipes using Tones Oregano Leaves

• 2 tbsps salad oil
• 1 lb lean ground beef
• 1 cup chopped onion
• 1 clove garlic
• 1/2 tsp dried oregano leaves
• 1 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp pepper
• 1 cup tomato juice
• 2 (8oz) cans tomato paste
• 1/2 cup hot water
• 8 oz pkg lasagne noodles
• 1/2 lb sharp Cheddar cheese
• 1/2 lb cottage cheese
• Parmesan cheese to taste

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Brown ground beef, garlic and onion in oil.
3. Add seasonings and liquid.
4. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
5. Cook noodles.
6. Make 2 layers of noodles, sauce, Cheddar cheese and cottage cheese in a 13X9 inch pan.
7. Bake 15 minutes.
