Directions for making Chili using Lawry's Seasoning Mix
- Brown 3 pounds ground beef. Drain excess fat.
- Add 1 5.7oz Package of Lawry's Chili Seasoning Mix, 1 #10 Can undrained Kidney or Pinto Beans and 1/2 to 1 #10 can (1 1/2 to 3 quarts) tomatoes. Blend thoroughly.
- Bring to a boil. Stirring frequently while bringing to boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Yields Approximately 1 1/2 gallons of prepared chili.
Alternate Directions for Making Chili Without Tomatoes
- Brown 3 pounds ground beef. Drain excess fat.
- Add 1 5.7 ounce package of Lawry's Chili Seasoning Mix, 1 cup water, and 1 #10 can of undrained kidney beans or pinto beans. Blend thoroughly.
- Bring to a boil while stirring frequently.
- Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Yields Approximately 1 gallons of prepared chili.
