Directions for making Taco Meat with Lawry's Taco Seasoning
- Brown 10 Pounds GROUND BEEF*; drain excess fat.
- Add 1 package Lawry's Taco Seasoning Mix and 1 1/2 quarts WATER; Blend thoroughly.
- Bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
- Reduce heat and simmer 20 to 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Recipe Yields approximately 10 pounds (1 1/4 gallons).
Alternatives: Substitute shredded CHICKEN or TURKEY in place of GROUND BEEF.
