Recipe: Macaroni and Cheese

Recipes using Tones Ground Paprika

• 2 tbsp flour
• 2 tbsp butter
• 2 1/2 cups milk
• 2 cups grated Cheddar cheese
• 8 oz elbow macaroni
• 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
• Paprika

1. Preheat oven to 375° f.
2. Cook elbow noodles according to package directions.
3. Melt butter in a 2 quart saucepan.
4. Add flour to butter, and mix in.
5. Gradually add milk, a little at a time, stirring constantly
6. Continue to heat milk/flour mixture, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens.
7. Add cheese, and cayenne pepper. Continue to stir until cheese has melted.
8. Place elbow noodles into a loaf pan or casserole. Pour the milk and cheese mixture over top of noodles, and stir to coat noodles.
9. Sprinkle top with paprika, and place in oven. Cook until brown and bubbly -- about 20 to 25 minutes.
