Hungarian Paprika is traditionally used for color as well as a sweet capsicum flavor. As a colorful garnish, Paprika can be sprinkled on fish, meats, canapés, eggs, soups, sauces, and potatoes. When Hungarian paprika is used in generous quantities, it is the main ingredient in such dishes as Hungarian goulash, and chicken or veal paprikash. Paprika is an important ingredient in Hungarian, Spanish and German cooking.
Use Hungarian Style Paprika as a garnish for scrambled or stuffed eggs, fish, cauliflower, corn, cream soups, yellow squash, potatoes and cheese sauce. Rub Hungarian Style Paprika over pork chops or chicken to aid in browning in either a microwave or conventional oven.
