It quickly and easily provides the slow, smoked flavor that is normally so time-consuming to achieve.
Tips for using McCormick Mesquite Barbecue Seasoning:
- Combine 2 cups flour, 2 tsp paprika, and 4 tsp McCormick Mesquite Barbecue Seasoning. Use to coat chicken or fish before baking.
- Blend 2 cups crushed pineapple, that has been lightly drained, with 2 tsp McCormick Mesquite Barbecue Seasoning, 1 1/2 cups diced red pepper, 1 cup chopped scallions and 1/4 cup each canola oil and lemon (or lime) juice. Use as a side dish, dipping sauce or as a topping for poultry.
McCormick Mesquite Barbecue Seasoning is a blend of sugar, barley malt flour, salt, dextrose, tomato, torula yeast, paprika, onion, maltodextrin, natural flavor, garlic, natural mesquite smoke flavoring, spices (including chili pepper), calcium silicate (added to make free flowing), citric acid, natural grill flavor, and extractives of paprika.
