McCormick Pure Peppermint Extract, 16oz 0.47L

McCormick Pure Peppermint Extract is made form the oil of peppermint. With a robust flavor of peppermint, this extract is well suited for use in baking and desserts. Add McCormick Peppermint Extract to dipping sauces, candies, cake frostings, chocolate confections, and ice cream. McCormick Peppermint Extract is a great flavor enhancer for brownies, cakes, and cookies.

Ingredients in Pure Peppermint Extract: Alcohol (89%), Oil of Peppermint, and Water.

Chocolate Mint Cookie Recipe

• 1 cup softened butter
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 tbsp Pure Vanilla Extract
• 1 tsp Pure Peppermint Extract
• 2 cups flour
• 1/2 cup cocoa powder
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 2/3 cup chocolate chips

1. Cream together the butter, and sugar until light and fluffy.
2. Add egg, and beat well.
3. Blend in the Vanilla Extract and Peppermint Extract.
4. In another mixing bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Blend together, then mix into the creamed butter sugar mixture.
5. Gently stir in the chocolate chips.
6. Drop batter by the tablespoonful onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
7. Bake for 10 - 12 minutes or until cookies are golden brown.
