McCormick Gourmet Sliced Onion 13oz 368g
McCormick's Gourmet CollectionTM Uniformly Chef's Cut Onion has the warm aroma of fresh white onions. The pungent onion flavor is countered by it's sweetness. McCormick's sliced onion will reconsititute in liquid providing your dips, sauces, soups, and marinades with all of the onion flavor you desire.
Recipe: Jeweled Basmati Rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup basmati rice
- 1/4 cup McCormick Sliced Onion
- 1/2 cup diced dried mixed fruit
- 1/4 cup toasted sliced almonds
- Bring broth, rice and onion to boil in a medium saucepan. Reduce heat, cover and cook according to rice package directions.
- Stir in fruit. Cover and let stand 5 minutes. Sprinkle with almonds before serving.
Makes 4 cups.
