Recipe: Oatmeal Cookies
1 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar packed
2 eggs
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp ground cinnamon
2 cups quick oats
1 cup nuts, chopped (optional) can use your favorite type
1 cup raisins
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
1. Cream together butter and sugars.
2. Min in eggs and vanilla.
3. Gradually mix in flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, spices and oats.
4. Stir in nuts and raisins.
5. Drop by rounded teaspoons on ungreased cookie sheet.
6. Bake 8 mins or until desired doneness.
Servings: approx 6 dozen |
