Recipe: Old Fashioned Chicken And Noodles
- 2 cup cubed, cooked chicken or 1 1/2 lbs chicken breast
- 1 small bay leaf
- 2 cups potatoes, chopped fine
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 3 chicken bouillon cubes
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1 1/2 quarts water
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
- 1 cup sliced carrots
- 1 tsp dried parsley flakes
- 1/2 tsp curry powder
- 8 oz wide eggs noodles
- Place chicken, boullion cubes, water, vegetables in dutch oven.
- Bring to a boil. Add seasoning and cook 20-30 minutes desired tenderness, stirring occasionally.
- If cooking breast, remove chicken from bones. Return meat to stock.
- Reduce heat and simmer gently 30 minutes or more.
- Add egg noodles 10 minutes before serving.
