Old Fashioned Soft Gingerbread Ingredients

• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup molasses
• 1/2 cup softened butter
• 2 eggs
• 1/2 cup sour milk
• 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp ground ginger
• 1 tsp ground cinnamon

To make Old Fashioned Soft Gingerbread

1. Preheat over to 375° F.
2. Cream together sugar and butter.
3. Add molasses and mix well.
4. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well between additions.
5. Sift flour, salt, baking soda, and spices together.
6. Add flour mix to the creamed mix, adding a little of the sour cream at each addition.
7. Pour into a greased and floured 8"x12" baking pan.
8. Sprinkle top with sugar.
9. Bake for 30 minutes.
10. Serve hot with whipped cream.
