Olliebollen Ingredients
To make Olliebollen
- Mix all dry ingredients well in a large bowl.
- Beat eggs in another bowl; add buttermilk.
- Add raisins to flour mixture.
- Add liquid to dry ingredients and mix well.
- Refrigerate mixture overnight.
- Heat canola oil in deep cooker.
- When hot, drop Olliebollen mixture by spoonfuls into hot oil.
- Fry until thoroughly cooked inside.
- The aroma of the Olliebollen will bring hungry eaters. Olliebollen may be rolled in sugar. Delicious with coffee or hot cider.
