Recipe: Orange Glazed Sweet Potatoes

Recipes using Tones Pure Cornstarch

• 6 medium sweet potatoes
• 1 or 2 oranges, sliced
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 3/4 cup orange juice
• 3 tbsps butter
• 2 tsps cornstarch
• 1/8 tsp salt
• 1 tsp grated orange rind

1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
2. Boil potatoes until tender.
3. Slice potatoes and oranges.
4. Arrange in baking dish, alternating layers of potatoes and orange slices.
5. Make a syrup with remaining ingredients.
6. Bring to a boil and pour over oranges and potatoes.
7. Bake for 1 hour, basting several times during cooking.
