Recipe: Oven Baked Round Steak

Recipes using McCormick Beef Bouillon Cubes

• 2-3 lb round steak
• 2 tbsp flour
• 2 beef bouillon cubes
• 2 cups water
• Butter
• Salt
• Pepper

1. Preheat oven to 375° F.
2. Cut steak into serving size (about 1/3 pound each).
3. Place one layer of steak in casserole; sprinkle top of steaks with flour.
4. Dot with butter.
5. Add additional layers of steak until all steak is in casserole.
6. Dissolve the beef boullion cubes in 2 cups hot water and pour over casserole.
7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
8. Cover tightly.
9. Bake in 375° F oven for 2 hours, or until tender.
