Recipe: Oven Baked Round Steak
- 2-3 lb round steak
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
- 2 cups water
- Butter
- Salt
- Pepper
- Preheat oven to 375° F.
- Cut steak into serving size (about 1/3 pound each).
- Place one layer of steak in casserole; sprinkle top of steaks with flour.
- Dot with butter.
- Add additional layers of steak until all steak is in casserole.
- Dissolve the beef boullion cubes in 2 cups hot water and pour over casserole.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cover tightly.
- Bake in 375° F oven for 2 hours, or until tender.
