Recipe: Oysters Parmesan
- Oysters
- Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
- olive oil
- minced dried garlic
- fine unflavored cracker crumbs
- salt and pepper
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- Remove oysters from liquid and pat dry.
- Place cheese in one bowl, olive oil with garlic in 2nd bowl and cracker crumbs seasoned with salt and pepper in 3rd bowl.
- Dip each oyster in cheese, dip in oil, then roll in crumbs.
- Arrange in baking dish that can go to table.
- Never make more than 2 layers or middle layers will remain uncooked.
- Sprinkle top lightly with more crumbs and bake 12 minutes.
- Slide under broiler briefly to brown crumbs.
