Recipe: Pear Celery Pecan Salad
Pear Celery Pecan Salad Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup light mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp canola oil
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/8 tsp ground black pepper
- 3 stalks celery, diced
- 3 large firm, ripe pears
- 1/2 cup pecan halves
To make Pear Celery Pecan Salad:
- In a serving bowl combine the first 6 ingredients.
- Next, stem and peel the pears, quarter them lengthwise and cut out the cores.
- Dice each quarter into 1 inch pieces.
- Add pears to the serving bowl and toss.
- Top with pecans. Chill slightly.
