Recipe: Pecan Tarts

Recipes using Young Pecan Halves

• 3 ounces cream cheese
• 1 stick butter
• 1 cup flour

Filling

• 3/4 cup light brown sugar, packed firm
• 1 tsp melted butter
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 cup chopped pecans
• 1 egg, hand beaten

1. Mix cream cheese, butter and flour until smooth and chill.
2. Place small balls in each muffin tin (walnut size). Mix filling ingredients thoroughly and spoon into tart patty.
3. Bake at 350° F. for 30 minutes.
4. Let cool before removing from pan.
