Recipe: Pizza Porcupine Patties

Recipes using Tones Beef Bouillon Cubes

• 15 oz can tomato sauce
• 1 lb ground beef
• 1/2 cup uncooked regular rice
• 2 tbsps chopped canned chilies
• 1 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp garlic salt
• 1/4 tsp dried oregano leaves
• 1 instant beef bouillon
• 1 cup boiling water
• 4 oz pkg shredded pizza cheese (about 1 cup)

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Reserve 1 cup of tomato sauce.
3. Mix remaining sauce, the ground beef, rice, chilies, salt, garlic salt and oregano.
4. Shape into 6 patties 1/2 inch thick.
5. Place in ungreased baking pan, 13X9X2 inches.
6. Bake, uncovered for 15 minutes.
7. Remove patties from oven; drain off fat.
8. Dissolve instant bouillon in boiling water; stir in reserved tomato sauce mixture over patties.
9. Cover and bake 35 minutes.
10. Spoon tomato sauce over patties; sprinkle with cheese.
11. Bake, uncovered, until cheese is melted about 5 minutes.
