3 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
2 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups milk
1 1/2 cup canola oil
2-3 tbsp poppy seeds
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 tsp almond extract

Preheat oven to 350° F.
Combine all ingredients (except baking powder) and mix for 3 minutes at medium speed.
Add baking powder, and mix for 30 seconds more.
Pour into 2 greased loaf pans or 1 greased bundt pan.
Bake for 1 hour.
Glaze while still hot with glaze listed below.

Glaze

3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 tsp melted butter
1./2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp almond extract

Combine all ingredients and spread over Poppy Bread while still hot so that sugar will melt.
