Recipe: Portuguese Soup

Recipes using McCormick White Pepper

• 1 pkg kale (green leaf vegetable)
• 1 large onion
• 1 lb Portuguese sausage (Linguica, Chourico)
• 4 large potatoes, Irish (cut in quarters)
• 1 lb kidney beans
• sea salt
• white pepper to taste

Make soup stock with 1 quart water, 1 whole onion, cutup sausage. Bring to boil, then simmer, adding kale. Cook until kale is tender, then add potatoes and beans. Siniiier for another hour and half. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Keep covered during cooking.
