Recipe: Potato Casserole
- 32 oz hash brown potatoes (frozen) or 36 oz shredded hashed potatoes
- 2 stick butter
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 pt sour cream
- 2 cups coarsely crushed corn flakes
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Place potatoes in greased casserole, 9X13 inches.
- Melt 1 stick of butter.
- Add onion and garlic salt; simmer.
- Add the cheese and remove from stove.
- Add sour cream; pour over potatoes.
- Melt 1 stick of butter.
- Add the corn flakes and toss.
- Put over the casserole.
- Bake for 30 to 40 minutes.
