Recipe: Potato Deluxe

Ingredients in Potato Deluxe

• 2 pounds frozen hash brown potatoes
• 2 tablespoons dehydrated sliced onion
• 1 can cream of chicken soup
• 16 ounces sour cream
• 1 stick of butter or margarine, melted
• 8 ounces Cheddar cheese, grated
• salt and pepper to taste
• 1 cup potato chips, crushed

To Make Potato Deluxe

1. Preheat oven to 350°.
2. Thaw hash browns in microwave.
3. In a large bowl mix cream of chicken soup, sour cream, onion, melted butter.
4. Fold in hash browns and grated Cheddar cheese; mix thoroughly.
5. Add salt and pepper to taste; mix well.
6. Pour mixture into a 9x13 inch greased baking dish.
7. Cover mixture with potato chips.
8. Bake at 350° for one hour.
