2/3 cup butter, softened
2 2/3 cup sugar
4 eggs
1 pound can pumpkin
2/3 cup water
2 2/3 cups flour, unsifted
2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground cloves
2/3 cup chopped nuts
2/3 cup raisins
3 to 4 tbsp dark molasses

Cream together butter, sugar, and eggs.
Add pumpkin and water. Combine flour, soda, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and ground cloves.
Add to pumpkin mixture. Mix well. Add nuts, raisins and molasses. Mix well. Pour into greased loaf pans.
Bake at 350° F. about an hour.
