Recipe: Quick Beef Pot Roast

Recipes using Adolph's Tenderizer

• 3 lbs beef chuck roast
• Adolphs Tenderizer
• 1/4 cup canola oil
• 2 medium onions, sliced
• salt and pepper to taste

1. Prick meat with fork or paring knife and sprinkle all sides with Adolphs Tenderizer; let stand 20 mins.
2. Heat canola oil in heavy pan.
3. Brown beef on all sides in hot oil.
4. Place rack in bottom of pan and cook in boiling water that does not cover roast.
5. Simmer for 1 hr.
6. Add sliced onion and seasonings.
7. Cook for an additional hour.
