Recipe: Ranger Cookies

Recipes using Baking Powder

• 1 cup shortening
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1 cup oatmeal
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 cup coconut
• 3 cups Post Toasties
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 tsp baking powder

To make Ranger Cookies

1. Cream sugar and shortening together, then add remaining ingredients, and mix well.
2. Drop Ranger Cookie batter by the teaspoon on a greased cookie sheet.
3. Bake Ranger Cookies at 400° F. for 10 to 15 minutes.
